Can anyone help with a sunscreen layering question I have?

I wear sunscreen everyday- mineral based. As I understand it sunscreen goes on last?
If so how do you deal with the problem of putting it over other makeup products like foundation/ colour correctors etc?
It just nullifies everything that’s gone on underneath?
Can you tell me how to deal with this problem?

You put sunscreen on last of your skincare products. Then you put your make up on top.

You also can buy a mist sunscreen like the la Roche pose (spelling?) if you need to top up while you're out, without having to ruin your makeup.
