What to wear with new jeans shapes! Help!

I have purchased some mom jeans and some barrel leg. I love them! Liberating after 20+ years of leg confinement!

No clue what to wear with them tho. I have all the footwear. But tops? Coats? Jumpers?

Any one suggest actual examples I can buy? I seem to have lost my ability to dress/shop since having kids. I’m 40, a 12 on top with not much boob and a really long torso for what it’s worth.

My one black t shirt will disintegrate soon.

For both, boxy fit cardis and jumpers. Long enough to not be cropped but short enough that they don’t cut across the widest point of the hips.
Or, embrace the oversize and wear a large jumper preferably with a big v neck
Or for smarter a relaxed fit blazer over a cami top
Slub Ts with a deep V also good

I like slightly cropped jumpers (that sit on the waist, not actually flashing tummy, and I always wear a vest underneath just in case) or a ruched in t-shirt with a boxy cardi. Arket does this type of cardi very well. I don’t like v-necks but agree this looks great on other people.

Coat-wise the only thing I have that doesn’t look great with them (I’m on my third winter out of skinnies) is a smart wool one. I have numerous faux furs, a parka, a long duvet type puffer coat, a Del Boy faux shearling car coat, and a leather biker.
