I rarely wear dresses as I find it hard to find something that suits my body shape, I’m 5”3, size 12 but 14 on top, I have big shoulders and upper arms but short skinny legs, wide hips and bum. I guess I’m a pear shape. I don’t want something to tight fitting but loose fitting makes me look frumpy, ideally short so I can wear tights and boots (my legs are my best bit).
What sort of dress would suit me? I’ve only ever really worn pinafore dresses but worried I look like a child (I’m almost 40). My style is a little alternative, not keen on flowery or frilly.
