Good starter make up for youngsters?

DD is wanting to start experimenting with make up, she is 10 so it'll only be for practicing at home and not going out or anything. So I was going to put together a starter kit for her for Christmas.

What should I put in it?

Check out revolution make up. Some really good, cheap bits in the different ranges. All vegan. I love the more adult bits

I'd include some of the mini eyeshadow palettes, brushes, a cute high lighter, maybe one of the Disney lip glosses and some of the donut bath bombs (my son loves them). And maybe something to make sure she removes it properly.

You could try Superdrug own brand. They are cruelty free & regularly have offers

Elf are also cruelty free and good value. (Available in boots too)
Little eyeshadow palette £4 & 16 colours so plenty to choose from.

10? She'll probably want colourful sparkly stuff to play about with. Palettes are rather neat. You used to be able to get ones which were like a complete set. Eyeshadows, blushers, lip colours, a mascara & eye pencil. I used to covet my friend's as a teen. Grin I just had stubs of lipstick my mum didn't want and a less comprehensive palette from the market.

I’d probably go lip gloss and nail varnish at that age

Make up Revolution or Barry M
Eyeshadow palette, kohl pencils, mascara, blush, bronze and lipstick
And a good cleanser (elf is a good option) so she gets the message that it needs taking off properly too!

Superdrug or primark I think have mini sets suitable.
