Hiya, I’ve had all over brown box dyed hair for well over 15 years and fancy a change as bored of long, frizzy locks. I’m late 40’s, over weight, pale skin with blue eyes - think house of colours autumn.

Do you think Bayalage is a good idea?? Any sites that have good images I could look it please?

You will always find everything hair on - Pinterest

I started getting balayage a few years ago because I couldn’t afford the upkeep of a whole head of foils. Best thing I ever did.

Balayage is bleach heavy, so not necessarily the best for frizzy hair which tends to be dry. You would be best advised to chat to a colourist and see what they recommend.

I searched for Instagram accounts for local hair dressers. If they do balayage, they'll have some before and after photos to give you ideas and help you decide who to go with. If you search #balayage you'll find lots of general inspiration too.
