Ugg, Sorel or somewhere else for comfortable, waterproof winter boots?

I need something really comfortable and waterproof this winter for lots of walking (I’ll have a small baby so anticipating lots of sling naps) and taking my toddler to the park.

I don’t mind spending a bit because I think I’ll get a lot of wear from them and I want something that is comfy and keeps the weather out. I’m struggling to make a decision though, please help!

I have done sorel boots. They are a bugger to get on and off.

Sorel are true to size but I size up to allow for thick socks.

I have been looking at bareback footwear and am going to get a pair of their boots next payday! I am looking at these Quebec ones in brown. They are not cheap but have good reviews.

Have a look at Panama Jack, they are a Spanish brand. I got some gorgeous fur lined, leather, waterproof boots last year. Toasty feet and comfortable.

Size up on Sorrel but the width is fine for my fat feet.

I have sorrels but they are hugely overkill and I only wear in the actual snow ( snows every year here). They are too thick to drive in

Day to day in winter I wear black Timberlands. They are waterproof through the snow in town and warm. Better support for walking.

Dh swears by his merrels

Like ugg, sorel do loads of different styles. The snow boots are clumpy, yes, but they do everything from lightweight trainers to ankle boots, leather fashion type boots as well as their big furry things.

I have ugg simmens and they are really comfortable, warm and waterproof. I’ve walked miles and miles in mine with no rubbing. They are at least 6 years old now and still good but a bit tatty looking-I used to wear them in town etc as well but now feel a bit of a scruff so tend to keep them for more outdoorsy walks. They’re a mix of leather and suede but I wore them in the sea and the leather bits went weird.

I like Bear Paw.

Merrells.
I've had them for years, they were comfy as soon as I put them on. They are warm, waterproof, comfortable and long lasting.

I have Sorrel boots. There is snow on the ground 4+ months of the year here. Thry are great... couple of years old now and still in brilliant condition despite being worn most days during that period. They are so warm it feels like they actually have a little heater in there.
