Eyelash serums

Hello

I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for eyelash serums? I used to use one by Eclat that was really good but I can't get hold of it now. My replacement is put on with a mascara wand and I'm very skeptical- I like the liquid eyeliner style. The other criteria is under a tenner as I'm very skint....

Thanks in advance.

The best thing I have used is raw castor oil. It's done wonders for my lashes and eyebrows

LadyLolaRuben · 26/09/2021 01:42

Vaseline on clean lashes at night works for me

NotMyCat · 26/09/2021 01:42

Rapid lash did wonders for mine

QueenBee52 · 26/09/2021 03:42

Rapid Lash

Lizzy1980 · 26/09/2021 04:42

UK Lash - it’s great! I’ve only been using it for 6 weeks and it’s supposed to be 3 months until you see full results but I’ve already got a few very long lashes

BunnytheFriendlyDragon · 26/09/2021 04:56

UK lash is very good and about £34 on qvc

Mercurial123 · 26/09/2021 06:06

I also use Castor oil. I used Rapid Lash a few years ago and had no issues. I used it last month snd it caused a reaction my eyes were so blood shot.

Binglebong · 26/09/2021 14:17

Thankbuou! Rapid lash and uk lash are s bit out of my ptocerange but I'll give caster oil a go. I really want my cheap one back.

caster oil will condition beautifully too 🌸

thesearelaughterlines · 26/09/2021 14:58

Another vote for castor oil
I use it PM on lashes and eyebrows
I have Pukka organic castor oil , cheap as chips from Amazon

stupid question alert...

how do you apply it.. I use Rapid Lash and its got a tiny little brush... but like the sound of the castor oil to support condition.. would you use a spiral brush or something similar.. 🌸

BunnytheFriendlyDragon · 26/09/2021 15:26

UK lash is quite cheap for an eyelash serum OP

You said you wanted a serum otherwise I'd have suggested castor oil too! I haven't used it but read about it on here before as conditioning. Not sure it'll make them grow.

thesearelaughterlines · 26/09/2021 15:29

@QueenBee52 I just dip a cotton bud in the bottle .. then wipe it gently across the eyelashes , I don't double dip the bottle
Just use another for the brows .. works fine for me

Chimchar · 26/09/2021 15:38

I'm no beauty guru but I use this...

It's a bit above your tenner but it's on 3 for 2. I've found it great.

Mercurial123 · 26/09/2021 15:48

The castor oil I use came with a couple of mascara like brushes and eyeliner brushes.

dogrilla · 26/09/2021 17:05

RapidLash worked really well for me but my eyelashes then deteriorated massively and have never been the same again. Is Caster oil the same?

I find the castor oil just thickens my lashes , I sometimes feel as if they are a little longer but I'm not so sure they are .. I think the idea is to condition them and moisture I do stop every now and again when I can't be bothered but I've never felt that was to my detriment
Claudia84 · 26/09/2021 17:26

I use castor oil and apply with a mascara wand. I also get lvl every month and I think it helps with keeping them in good nick although it’s not a miracle worker.

Claudia84 · 26/09/2021 17:31

As in the castor oil does not the lvl!

of course.. sounds great.. thank you

QueenBee52 · 26/09/2021 18:27

Sorry it's Revitalash I use... grooan lol

Binglebong · 26/09/2021 19:32

I think I was spoilt a bit - mine was about £8.

I've read castor oil makes them look thicker and more lustrous but doesn't actually strengthen. I might get some tn put on in the morning as I don't use mascara everyday.

Thanks for all the help.

Interestingly not that exciting actually I tried a L'Oréal one and noticed a difference in length and thickness really quickly - was so happy ! When it finished I bought another tube and it did absolutely nada zilch zero difference and lashes went back to stubbly bits
