Any suggestions?

I'm a tall size 18 and I'm on the hunt for something lovely and flattering for yoga and general mooching about.

Have you looked at Asquith? I have a pair of their leggings which I wore as a size 18 - super soft and they didn’t budge. They washed ok too.

Divebar2021 · 25/09/2021 23:08

I bought mine in the sale by the way.

ScumbagDave · 25/09/2021 23:09

Oh thanks, that looks lovely!

Would it come up long / short would you say? Would it be too short on a tall person, long of body?

Hmmmmm are you taller than 5’8”? I’m
a bog standard 5’6” and I feel they come well below my ankles but perhaps not suitable if you’re 5’11 for example. I’ll measure them though to check.

ScumbagDave · 25/09/2021 23:18

Ah thanks!

I'm 5'10"

My legs aren't the issue. They'd probably be fine. But tops are almost always too short on me and look pants, annoyingly.

The inside leg is 27 inches and the rise is 10 inches. Mine are an XXL. The fabric is 60% bamboo and they really stand out as much softer than my other shiny activewear.

Divebar2021 · 25/09/2021 23:25

ASOS do a tall range of activewear

ScumbagDave · 25/09/2021 23:30

Ah yeah, thanks. Maybe I'll give ASOS a look. I could probably get posher leggings in normal length and some ASOS tops in tall length or something Smile

Try Bara Sportswear - many shorter people post that their stuff is too long, so would be great on you. I have several of their leggings, best I've tried.

ScumbagDave · 26/09/2021 13:22

Oh fantastic! Thank you. Yes, if anyone writes a review saying too long, I can be pretty sure it will fit me Grin

Will take a look Flowers

I have these and wear them all the time at home for lounging bambooclothing.co.uk/shop/grace-bamboo-yoga-pants-moss/

I didn't expect them to be flattering but they make my waist look much smaller and are so softly stretchy that I don't have to worry about lumps or bumps from the waist band. Also brilliant when I have period cramps and want to curl up and cry because they don't dig in. They come up quite big so you'd need one size down as a minimum, maybe two. Mine are a size 8. I was a 10 when I bought my first pair and found the waist slipping a bit, now I'm a 12 and they fit better.

Another suggestion of Asquith, they have great reductions in the sale and it’s lovely quality
