What do I wear to a first date night out at the pub? I'm early 40s and absolutely freaking out about what to wear. Have plenty of clothes and choices but somehow feel nothing is suitable 😫
If that helps, I'm 5'7, slim and hourglass shape. Tan skin and brunette. Long hair (bra strap length)
I don't want to look too dressed up, but also want to look pretty but like in an effortless way? Or should I go for it and put all effort and dress to kill?
Should I wear heels? A nice dress? Jeans(black)? Is wearing trainers a sign I didn't put that much effort? Is it too casual?
For a bit of background, we know each other for 2 and half years(work together), been apart since lockdown started in March last year, but talk almost daily. We know we are into each other, cards are on the table about how we feel and miss each other and are both looking forward to this date; this is our first meet-up in person in the last 18 months. (We saw each other by video a few times during this period, though) It's also the first time we'll be alone just the 2 of us.
He's 10 years younger than me, btw
