I have a work party to go to in October at my new company - big annual bash - talk of the company as been missed in recent years with COVID. There's no dress code been given, so expecting general party wear rather than black tie. Also, would like to be able to wear same outfit to a Christmas do with old colleagues in December.
Problem is I have no idea what suits me anymore, and I cannot wear heeled shoes (plantar fasciitis makes them agony from get go) so feel frumpy most of the time anyway.
My go-to idea would be a knee/mid length wrap dress with tights and ballet pumps, but have sneaking suspicion that this is frumpy mum territory.
I'm 37, 5' 6.5", size 22, definite apple shape. Max budget £150, including shoes, but cheaper the better. Have a variety of small bags, so hope to reuse one.
