Does Dyson ever discount hairdryers?

Looking to buy the Dyson Supersonic for my daughter but it's £300!

Do they ever come down in price nearer Christmas? Or am I as well to get it now so I have it?

They are a few pence cheaper on QVC if that helps!

dragontightrope · 25/09/2021 11:17

They're rubbish, don't bother. Honestly the worst. Knotted my hair terribly.

Really? Her hair is so thick and takes forever to dry. Thought this would be the perfect solution

Ah no mine is fab.

My mum works in boots so gets 12.5% discount on non-boots items, in the run up to Xmas she would have double discount days so could get 25% off.

Don't suppose you know anyone that works in boots? Grin

Grumpasaurus · 25/09/2021 12:09

Love mine!!!!!

aprilshowers2015 · 25/09/2021 12:11

QVC offer staggered payments so it's not such a hit in one go. I couldn't live without mine now, dries my very thick hair in 7mins as opposed to 20/25 with a normal hairdryer!

IloveJudgeJudy · 25/09/2021 12:46

I've got one. I've had it for about 4 years, I think. I really rate it. Doesn't make my hair knotty. DC always use it if they come back to stay and were amazed how good it was when I got it as they had been very sceptical.

ThisIsStartingToBoreMe · 25/09/2021 12:58

Sometimes QVC give £10 off and let you pay in 4 payments. Never really seen it any cheaper to be honest.

I'll be asking around now!

Even if you don't work in boots you could wait for double points week and you'd get loads. That's what we did.

Caggie09 · 25/09/2021 16:56

I love mine!

BunnytheFriendlyDragon · 25/09/2021 16:57

I love mine

QVC do deals from time to time

hahahayoumustbejoking · 25/09/2021 16:57

Glad to hear people rate it as my DD would love it

I got mine qvc - you can pay in instalments interest free, might help a bit?

Baffled at how PP gets her hair tangled in it? As opposed to not experiencing that with other hairdryers? Confused

PuppyMonkey · 25/09/2021 17:03

Knotted I mean!

PolarSmile · 25/09/2021 22:45

I love mine. I got about £15 off at John Lewis, generally they are the full price though.

I don't get it tangled IN it!

I've been drying my hair the same way for 30 years and ONLY with the dyson it comes out in dreadful dreadlock-type knots. Once you google it it's quite common. Something about the way it circulates the air. Sent it back. Hate it.

mollibu · 26/09/2021 22:31

Love mine! I bought mine on Dyson's Refurbished part of their website for £220! Still going strong 2 and a half years later!

Here's the link if you want it, OP!

Georgie8 · 26/09/2021 22:45

It is expensive, but definitely worth it in my opinion.
QVC does deals and also offers interest free payments, usually over 3 months.

RogueV · 26/09/2021 22:47

I bought mine from Boots with 10% student discount and when they had a points event on

NinDS · 26/09/2021 22:53

Had mine since the day it came out and love it. Also have the air wrap and the cordless straighteners and love them all too!!!! Do I think they’re worth the expense, probably not. But if I were to replace any, it would be the hairdryer.

Love mine. I have thick hair and it cuts the drying time in half.

I got mine full price through Dyson but used their interest free payment plan through PayPal credit.

taytotayto111 · 27/09/2021 12:13

I know they sell reconditioned ones on their website with the same warranty
