Winter wedding guest

Hello! Would anyone be up for helping me find a wedding dress for my brother's winter wedding? I'm late 40s, medium height, slim/athletic body.

I was thinking about something long sleeved, possibly high-necked. Not sure about the length, but I'm used to wearing either short or maxi rather than midi. Quite like the idea of velvet.

I'll need some shoes too. No idea what to do about a jacket...I only own an anorak Grin

Nancy Mac does some gorgeous velvet dresses.

Are you due a new winter coat? If you get one shortly before the wedding it will still be in good condition. Hats are great for winter weddings.

These are all great! I particularly love a Nancy Mac green velvet jumpsuit. They're all a bit over budget though. I was planning on max £150 for the dress, as I'll going to need to get sites l shoes and possibly a coat and hat too. Plus I will never/extremely rarely wear it again.

Agree with this. Think a wide legged jumpsuit would be more weddingy.

This is my perfect dress, annoyingly oos in my size 😭 I also have a winter wedding to attend, I love velvet too!
