Light jacket for autumn?

I think I need a light coat for autumn, like something I can just chuck on over a dress or jeans and a t shirt. What should I get? Pretend leather, denim, something else? I think it might be 5 years since I updated my wardrobe 😬

Whistles has a really nice greige boiled wool shacket atm. There are similar corduroy ones in M&S (cream) and Boden (green, pink).

& Other Stories or Topshop for shackets at different prices points.

Literally made for chucking over a basic outfit and upgrading it.

What’s a Shacket? I’ll have a look at m&s. I’m a size 22 so top shop is pretty much out!

It’s a shirt-jacket, typically slightly oversized but perfect for the in-between seasons.

ASOS & River Island have some nice ones in their Curve ranges.

Next has lovely denim jackets in different colours
