Dungarees over 50 - anybody?

My 20 yr old daughter has persuaded me to buy some denim dungarees from Pull & Bear! I like them a lot, but am now wondering if I am confident enough to actually wear them. I'm a bit worried about either (a) looking like I'm trying too hard to dress 'young' (I'm 53) or (b) Looking like a painter/decorator or someone who has come to service the boiler! At least nobody will think I'm pregnant...So tell me which ones you like wearing if you're over 50 - should I have gone for non denim for example?

I'm in my mid forties and have three pairs of dungarees and two boiler suits. I love them, but they fit into my 'style' (if you can call it that) - I like comfortable, gender neutral sort of clothes.
