L’Oréal plumping tinted serum - is it just me?

Really wanted this to work so much as I don’t wear foundation but need to to start cover up a little to even out ageing skintone. I also love a good serum. Bought the perfect shade and tried it for a few days and each time my skin tightens so much I have to run and wash it off mid day. Anyone else? Should I be doing something else with it? I thought it would be super moisturising?? I so want this product to work as it’s perfect in every other way!!

I bought this after seeing it reviewed in The Guardian and really like it but it is certainly not moisturising! I looked at the ingredients and alcohol is the third on the list which is probably what's causing the drying. I have to use quite a heavy moisturiser underneath it.

I love it. I put it on right away over a thick moisturiser so it does not dry my skin.

If you want to try something else Erborian CC cream is fab!

I bought this last week and really like it. For me it gives a nice coverage and glow! I put it on over moisturiser and SPF - not noticed any tightness but I do have oily skin.

I wouldn't describe it as a 'serum' and definitely not moisturising but that works for me being an oily type!

Interesting about the alcohol content!
I’m going to give it another go on top of heavy moisturiser as I too love the coverage!

I bought this on the back of the Sali Hughes review too and am really impressed with the coverage and lightness. Am a bit confused by the lid though - is the rubber thing meant to pull out of the silver lid to be used as a dropper? It wouldn’t come out easily and I didn’t want to break it!
