Often have to do black tie with work and usually go full length gown. Now have a cocktail reception in two weeks and need mid length. Have gained lockdown weight and can’t find anything to fit/suit - am 57, size 16 now with big boobs and tummy. Don’t want pastels or frills.
so thinking maybe flappy trousers and a floaty top instead? Men will be in black tie/mess dress so need to be smart.
Help! Budget not huge.
Prefer black, navy, jewel colours - maybe a few beads or sparkles but not OTT
