Jewel green evening frock. What colour bag?

For an awards black tie event.
Have black patent heels and need a new bag. Could just go with black obviously but fancied something a bit more wow.

Do I match my lipstick to the bag.

Last time I went to a black tie function was 20 years ago so could do with some advice.

I'd go black or metallic. In neither case do I suggest you match your lipstick to it 😂

Gold metallic bag. Gold jewelry. No I wouldn’t match my Lippy.

OK. So black metallic lippy is off the list 😂

I have a strong innate compulsion to match things.

I'd say No to black heels......go glittery silver strappy heels and silver/diamante bag.

Ooooh what a lovely colour. I'd go for a sort of champagne-y bag, not too gold but on the gold rather than silver spectrum. Gold/pearly earrings. Understated lip. Gorgeous.
