Good quality black trousers with a bit of shape

Really struggling to find a good quality pair of black trousers, with a very slight crop.
I was initially eyeing up Saint & Sofia but the poor reviews put me off.
I'm not particularly keen on the quality of M&S or Next and the more expensive brands seemed shapeless.
I don't mind forking out for quality but I want them to look on trend too.

Try having a look at Uniqlo. They do good basics and style/design/quality much better than Next and M&S imo. And, yes, I'd stay away from Saint & Sofia.

Love uniqlo too and Gap slim but they go out of stock quickly

Have you looked at Boden, Cos or Arket? All of them have black trousers in stock at the moment. And jigsaw too.

Not sure how on trend they are though
