Superfacialist - what do we think?

I've been weaning myself off Clinique and other high end stuff as I don't think it's worth it for cleansers and some skin care. (I love Olay Regenerist and buy it cheaply.)

I've bought SF Rose cleanser which is good ( although a bit too perfumed for my taste) and have ordered the Vit C serum.

I can't however get my head around whether SF are 'good' or just very low range products hyped up and made a bit more pricy!

I really like their oil cleanser.

The Ordinary and Inkey List are two other brands at lower price points with good quality and effective products.

I use the Vitamin C cleansing oil and Vitamin C Sleep & Reveal night cream every night and absolutely love them both. The smell alone makes me happy!

Another fan of the bit c facial oil - lasts ages and it's often 30% off so about £7.50 which I think is a bargain.

Also a fan of Inkey List. Boots ingredients line is supposed to be good. I'm currently enjoying watching James Welsh YouTube videos about skin care. He's also very nice looking and I love how honest he is.

Love love love the super facialist oil cleanser and the rose facial oil.

I also use the ordinary for retinol and antioxidants and the vit c serum from Holland and barrat

Superficialist was called after the Facialist who created in with aim to proved products with high percentage of active ingredients and had her name actually on it. However, she took her name off it - bit telling? Saying that, I still use the cleansing oil, vitamin C scrub and Rose facial oil!

Yes it used to have Una Brennan's name on the products and doesn't now.

I quite liked the products when I tried them but didn't repurchase so can't have been that great.

sansucre · 22/09/2021 17:23

I use the rosehip cleanser and cleansing oil, I think they're great products at a very reasonable price point.

MrsCatE · 22/09/2021 17:33

@ChequerBoard yup, Una. I didn’t want to name directly. I went to her for years but circumstances changed. I’d still recommend her though and lovely person.

I use the cleansing oil and it just won't run out. Brilliant if you're after a bargain, not so good if you like to try new products often. It does melt my makeup off and doesn't leave a cloudy film on my eyes like a balm but I need a second cleanser to get the residue off.
