Skinny jeans

So skinny jeans are out, but they’re all I own. What is the new fashionable style of jeans?

im done with jeans, prefer leggings or cords. So sick of stiff cloyingly clothing and even wider leg jeans still dig and fit close at the hip/waist.

I don't think following trends so closely is that great either, all it does is create waste and screw the environment, so I guess I would wear skinny jeans if I liked them and that's about it!

Having said that, I am happy to look current, but saying something is 'out' is a bit fashion magazine/teenaged and only serves to line the pockets of those who invest heavily in our desperation to be on trend.

I will only wear skinny jeans. I dont care if that's not fashionable as I look ridiculous in other styles

I'm sticking with skinny jeans too. I think 'fashion' these days tends to look ridiculous.

I am sticking with relaxed skinnies or straight. I really can’t stand the other styles, they aren’t flattering. For me it’s more about what flatters than fashion.

Skinnies are still a round so if you like them, wear them. There are a gazillion styles of jeans out there! You might find another you like just as much ( I'm loving the looser styles myself)

I currently wear either barrel leg (Whistles), straight leg (Zara) or massive baggy 90s ones (also Zara).

Another wearing balloon/barrel legs here, and also Levi’s 501s.

I think saying styles other than skinny are not flattering is a bit daft and a very sweeping statement! I’m pear shaped with a very small waist, so the skinny jeans/long top thing never worked for me (and I didn’t wear it) whereas a high waist and a tucked in or slightly cropped top is very flattering. It’s great to have choices!

I went to a large shopping centre today and it's almost like it's a secret that skinnies are out, the shops are still full of them!

I'll always wear skinny's as they're perfect for my shape and small frame

They are just not super flattering for most people. Hopefully this decades-long trend will finally die off 😎

Jeans should be left to workmen, where rough fabric and unforgiving lines are okay.

I’ve even known people to relax around the house in them 😱 how could you ever feel comfortable in such garments 🥶

@MangoFeverDream I wear jeans almost every day say 300 out of 365 days of the year. They are comfortable: I can bend in them I can run upstairs in them. Most of my jeans are 100% cotton ( a few have 1% elastane). I own around 40 pairs of jeans. You are presumably just trying to stoke an argument!

I wear jeans just about every day too and find them very comfortable. Maybe you just buy crap jeans!

I'm wearing Frame Le High straight leg, 7 For All Mankind dark denim flares, Raey wide-legged and Me+Em straight leg Italian dark denim with a massive turn-up.

But if you like skinnies, wear skinnies! Loads of people are still wearing them. I don't think anyone will be staring at you in horror.

I've had a few compliments on my new skinny flares. My skinnies are fine but I love my new ones.

I am long of leg and lean of body so I guess they suit that body shape.
