Winter Maxi Skirts

Hi,
can anyone recommend where I can buy a heavier maxi skirt for winter wear please?
Everything I see tends to be midi length, I'm 16/18 pear shaped, have chunky legs & ankles which the midi cut off at the wrong point. I'm nearly 4 weeks pp and will soon have a funeral to attend. It doesn't have to be black or plain, however I'd probably pair it with a plain black nursing top.
Knee length would be the next viable alternative.
Thank you x

Buy some chunky boots to balance out the proportions.

That's an idea, I have got some black ankle boots. I do struggle buying boots though because of my chunky legs. Anything designed for to be bigger tends to be either wide fitting on the foot or expensive.x

Same here OP!
Always on a quest to find a winter maxi skirt to wear with boots. Will be watching with interest.

@PrancingQueen the thread hasn't taken off but after some Googling I can see that House of Fraser have some really nice options for winter wear.
Yours do too in larger sizes, but nothing is quite doing it for me yet x

Ooh I’d love a winter maxi skirt. My mum had heavy velvet and cord long skirts in the 70s, riding skirt style.

Velvet maxi skirt here on sale but limited sizes left

Cord maxi here

Or here a straighter style

I have this, it's definitely suitable to wear in winter. You don't say how tall you are but at a leggy 5'7 it's about its minimum length ,certainly would be too long on anyone shorter.
