HELP! what boots for plantar fasciitis

I have horrible PF in my left foot and have lived in my fit-flops this summer, they are the comfiest and have helped reduce the pain. However my toes are starting to get cold when out and about and I need boots for the winter. Can anyone recommend any that aren't going to make my foot feel like it's been hit with a baseball bat?

Well, Timberlands are the only footwear that aren't killing my feet at the moment. Unfortunately, if you look back at plantar fasciitis threads you'll see what works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another.

I think Fitflop get recommended for PF. They make boots as well as shoes! Not super stylish maybe, but I wear their trainers and find them great. And nobody can tell without looking closely what sort of trainers I'm wearing anyway.
