I have this problem every year as the seasons change and I never find a good solution.
I have big calves and skinny ankles. I usually wear skinny jeans and with flats, trainers or sandals I look fine. BUT as it gets colder and people switch to boots with jeans, it all goes wrong as cutting me off at my ankle with an ankle boot looks awful and my legs look like tree trunks.
Same with tights and ankle boots, with dresses. I used to wear knee highs (the wide calf ones) a lot but that's been out the last few years so I've just muddled through. Should I do straight leg or bootleg jeans with boots? Flats with dresses or jeans don't work when it's cold or raining, I need boots.
Any amazing ideas? Btw Im quite fat. Thanks!
