Bought this dress today for a family occasion.. fairly dressy so thinking stilettos instead of chunky boots but what colour and what if any jewellery

Also hair is mid length so suggestion as to up or down very welcome!!

Thanks

I actually think stilettos would date that look somewhat. Knee-high boots would be better, with a stack heel.

I'd wear my hair in a low pony with hoop earrings.

Do you think??

Occasion is nearly wedding like so boots feel like a bit cas maybe??🤪

I just don't think that's a dress for a formal do? It's a smart casual dress, for, like, a pub visit or a smart casual office or something. You could pair it with stilettos, but leather + stilettos is the combination that would give it, IMO, a dated vibe. A dress for a "do" generally wouldn't involve knitwear. Hard to say any more without knowing the occasion and the dress code. I do like the dress, but I would pair it with lug-soled boots.

I would go for burgundy- either stilettos or knee high boots and matching large clutch a la Victoria Beckham. Hair down with a slight wave. Simple jewellery.

Id wear that with pointy ankle boots and a chunky necklace.

Although I really like the dress , I wouldnt choose it for such an occasion either tbh.

I'd wear that to go shopping in or to the pub not to a wedding I'm afraid

Not stilletoes, or any high heeled boots you’ll look like a wannabe dominatrix.

I’d go for ankle boots or shoe boots, or flat longer boots if you must.

Hair - either sleek low pony or amazing bouncy waves - channel J Lo. Big earrings, chunky bangle and a big ring on the opposite hand to the bangle. Handbag either black or dark - pewter, ox blood at a push.

Thanks everyone.. I was thinking alright I was grasping a bit drying to make it more formal wear... I do love it on though so trying to justify keeping it for no good reason Blush
