All Saints boots

I am coveting these boots from All Saints: www.allsaints.com/women/boots-and-shoes/allsaints-donita-lace-up-boot/?colour=5&category=21765

They're much nicer in person, I tried them on today.

BUT - they're quite stiff leather, especially the heel.

So I guess I'm asking, has anyone had All Saints boots and do they soften up quite easily? Also I guess are they worth the spendy price tag? I'm not too arsed about that as they'll be a gift but if they fall apart in ten minutes then I don't want them!

Why did I follow that link - now I want the Billie boots ConfusedGrin

I don't have the Donita ones but I do have the Franka boots which I think are similar, and while they were stiff-ish, they're very comfortable and never gave me any problems with rubbing and whatnot. The leather is excellent quality, as you'd expect (like the jackets, I suppose!)

I struck lucky on eBay and got an unworn pair for £80, so given that you've tried them on it might be worth a look? Smile

Sorry! Grin

That's really helpful thank you - I didn't try the Franka but you're right, they look almost the same (I almost tried them but I particularly liked the strap over the toe of the Donita).

I will have a gander over at ebay and see what turns up!

I've got those exact boots OP, and I was a bit concerned about the leather being quite stiff, I've been pleasantly surprised how comfortable they are.

They also seem pretty solidly made, I've got no concerns about them dropping to bits!

@ShrikeAttack - just wanted to check back in and say that I decided £225 was too much for me to spend considering we're moving soon - BUT - I've just collected a pair from a woman who had only worn them a couple of times before deciding they were too small.

£75 Grin. Well chuffed!

(Although they are very tight across the top of my foot so I need to break them in)

@SocksAndTheCity sorry Socks, that was for you - as it was your idea!
