Which Babyliss big hair?

My revlon one step died today. Started smoking and stopped! Amazon sending a new one tomorrow thankfully but should have a back up so was considering a BBH as I also want more curl Than the revlon gives?

Have medium length ( sort of collar bone - armpit length) fine hair.

I'm useless with straighteners and rollers don't stay in.

Was thinking the 42mm. Which ones do you have and what is you hair type length. How do you get a nice curl?

I don’t get curls with my babyliss big hair. More volume.

@CornishTiger thanks - which one do you have?

I’ve just had a look online. It’s the original one. 50mm I think.

I’ve got long wavy hair. I have just ordered some heated rollers after experimenting with a friends.

I didn’t get curl with it either. I don’t really rate it as the bristles are all synthetic, they don’t grip or smooth your hair as much as natural boar bristles would. I’d stick to the revlon!

If you want to try the dyson airwrap Qvc have 60 day trial period running - I think that’s a good bet for curly styles

My hair is to fine for rollers sadly.

@MrsKDB thank you. My dread with the air wrap is that I am so uncoordinated and seems so complicated with the arrows etc. I might give it a go -but the price! Blush

Tried the three barrel waver and it's not great either - makes it frizzy and I need more practise.

I do love the revlon but my hair is really fine and flat so it just give it a general polished volumised look.

Thanks for the ideas

I have thick frizzy hair and have used the bigger barrel babyliss for the past few years. My hair has been various lengths in this time and the big barrell has always been good for me. The bristles do end up bent etc but I feel it still does a good job. It makes my hair look like it has bad a big blow dry in the hairdressers. As I said I have quite coarse hair. It looks frizzier when I use my ghd's and is also obviously much flatter. I much prefer blow drying it with the big hair . I leave my hair to be three quarters dry before i use the babliss big hair

Use the regular one for that length.

It's very easy and does give a lovely finish but it's not for curling.

Try a mousse first and you might get more volume. But you really have to dry your hair 80% before you use it or it takes too long.
