What would younwear with this dress for a christening? Help needed.

Hellooooo, please may I have some help with what to wear with this dress for a christening.

It’s a midi length dress with narrow-ish belt loops and a frill on the chest part, if the photo isn’t clear.

I need shoes, jacket and possibly a bag.

I don’t really want black as it might look a bit funeral looking rather than a christening, and I can’t wear very high heels either…

I'd say nude shoes maybe elongate the legs and a small matching clutch would not detract away from the detail on the dress

I love the dress. I have a fair number of black and white polka dot things in my wardrobe and love them.

I'd wear yellow shoes - or coral or teal or burnt orange. Something bright (but definitely NOT primary coloured and not pink). I'm a very monochrome dresser (90% of my wardrobe is black, white, navy, grey) but am a massive believer in the power of bright shoes and think they can elevate a slightly plainish classic outfit into something stylish and interesting but not too out there.

Oh and don't match the bag and the shoes - much more stylish to go for two different colours!
