Help with foundation- it goes a weird colour

I wear no 7 hydraluminous and I love it. I thought it suited my skin and it was colour matched so it looked good. But I've noticed when I get home from work I look a bit browner, or maybe more orange than when I left the house. DH says it's my imagination but I'm sure it's not. I used to wear Lancome but at nearly 50, I felt the No7 looked better on me. Is this what oxidisation is? Can it be prevented or do I need to look for a new foundation?

Yes, it's oxidising. Time to try something different which is a chore.
I'm using Trinny BFF serum at the moment. It's quite sheer which suits me and definitely doesn't change colour.
Good luck with your search.

I’ve found this with hydraluminous too, very disappointing. Looks fine when I put it on and then goes pinky orange later.

It’s oxidising

It’s Either the formula or your skin reacting

If you like the formula try a primer, or a lighter shade so either it oxidises to your shade or to mix in with what you have

I found that too,it aged me 20 years and looked awful!

Thanks everyone. I'll try a shade lighter and see how I get on. I do use a primer (a no7) but it still happens. Are the make up counters open now for trials? I hoping so, or at least the samples are back.
