I haven't worn a pair of heels in almost three years, apart from on Christmas Day and maybe the very rare drinks party. I have eight pairs taking up space in my wardrobe. All sooo expensive new (as in £3-400 a pair). Good names - Gucci, Stuart Weitzman etc. And in tidy condition. Not good enough to resell on eBay really, but I would wear them without a blush. But.. heels are a young woman's game, and an office-workers uniform, and I am neither. I just never have a day which calls for heels any more. I have left London and left office work and I am never. going. back. I wear sandals all summer, and straight to boots in winter But I am finding it so hard to say goodbye to them! It's like accepting middle age! Talk sense into me, please
