I love a gilet. Very versatile and overcomes the thick jumper under a coat issue.

The length is everything though. What is your most flattering length? To me the short looks a little short and the long looks a little long.

I think I'm veering towards the longer on me as I'm quite tall, 5ft 8 but then it feels more like a coat. Hmmm Decisions decisions!

Look on thr next website , there is a threadbare one for £40 which is the same .

I have one just like the short one. I don't wear it much. Wouldn't be without it though and will now take a look at it as I went out today and forgot about it. I wore something else instead. This is what happens when you have too many clothes :)
The long one is not as nice IMHO

The models for AX have a really odd look about them. Really overly made up and fake tanned, it puts me off the clothes as I can't see myself wearing them, and I think it makes the clothes look cheap. I'm sure it's a lovely gilet and the woman modelling is gorgeous but I can't see past the tacky styling

@TowelStripes I do know what you mean!! The way they model the clothes is definitely more towie style (which is nothing like me at all!)

I have never understood the appeal of these things! Ok for dog walking/mucking out the horses I suppose but why does it not have sleeves???!! I remember a friend of my brother came over - they were all going to the theatre and she went on about getting dressed up for the theatre. I kept quiet but both mum and I agreed it looked like she was about to muck out the horses!

I've never come across this retailer before but I would agree @TowelStripes . The pictures all look like selfies in their back garden.
