Any feedback on Flattered shoes?

As per my username, I am on the hunt for some new boots and found some gorgeous ones on Flattered.com.
It was an Instagram ad so obviously I have no idea how reliable they are.
The website is lovely but I have found some dodgy reviews online.

I was wondering if anyone had ever bought any shoes from them?

The boots shown when I clicked the link look great

ILoveShula · 14/09/2021 19:19

I hadn't heard of the brand before but it's a lot of money if you aren't sure.

goose1964 · 14/09/2021 20:15

Trust pilot don't have many reviewers but it's 50/50 sounds like the product is OK but customer service is practically non existent

NeedNewBoots · 15/09/2021 12:06

It's really tricky when you find those online brands- the products look really nice but as mentioned it isn't cheap... I am really torn.

I'd leave them alone. If you want cheap knee length boots look on ebay or similar. That's where I got mine. As new for about £45. Named brand normally retailing at about £155

NeedNewBoots · 15/09/2021 14:40

I guess I wouldn't mind paying a decent amount if the quality is there.
It's tricky to shop these days as some brands are online-only (as is this one).
There get some good name-dropping on beauty websites but there is no way to check the product in person.

It is difficult, and there's the hassle of returning things.

If I were looking to spend £300 on a pair of boots, I'd need to be 100% delighted with them.

Brands I'd be looking at might be Russell & Bromley, and at the decent shoe shops in an upmarket town centre. If you have a quick look on ebay and search for something like 'Russell & Bromley knee high boots' it will show similar companies along the top

ILoveShula · 15/09/2021 17:00

Just done that and it didn't offer any suggested brands, but I did think, why not look at sites like Zara, M&S, John Lewis, Cos etc., They won't be £££ but at least you know who they are.

ILoveShula · 15/09/2021 17:07

These ones from Zara? link

I liked these as they mid calf, not too chunky and a good colour. They are a lot cheaper than Russel and Bromley.

I was looking at the knee length ones, sorry.

The burgundy mid-calf ones are very nice but £££.

The style is very on-trend so might date.

Here are some cheaper ones
next
black/berry

Update- I found these! They look good, shame they don't have another colour.
The light grey is too pale though

Very nice. Good length for wide cropped trousers or midi dresses

TheOpenRoad · 16/09/2021 10:46

I have bought sandals from Flattered, I think it's Scandinavian so not necessarily an online brand per se, they are in stores in other countries.

I love my sandals, expensive but absolutely worth the price. They are pretty narrow but that's the model. I got these

Bought a pair and wore them for one day, the soles have shredded. I am taking them back tomorrow, a great dissapointment given the amount of money paid.
