Have wfh along with the rest of my workplace since March 2020. Seriously lacking in nice clothes as I've not bought a single thing since lockdown. I've made do with what I have for the odd date night with dh post lockdown, but I never really had a lot of clothes to start with.

We are all meeting for drinks late afternoon on Friday, but it has the potential to go on til the small hours. I need outfit recommendations - happy to treat myself to something new due to not having anything new in so long.

I'm 5'3 and dumpy Grin. Flabby (big) stomach, a reasonably good bust, chunky legs and arms. A peach. I dont even think I remember how to walk in heels but as its casual; I'm happy to wear flats. Late 30s.

Not really got a set budget, maybe £100 as long as I could see myself wearing everything again.

I'm shit at this so really, just need some inspo on what others would wear to casual afternoon drinks that may go on late.

Sounds like fun! I would probably wear a midi or long dress, trainers and a leather jacket, maybe a denim jacket

How about this from M&S? They also have deep v satin shirts which are quite flattering too.

Oh gosh this looks quite formal. Beautiful, but more something I would wear to a christening.

The blouse may look good with Jean's though

Thanks - I probably should take the plunge and get a good leather jacket. Trouble is I suffer from "I'll get it when I'm thinner" syndrome and, well, that day never comes Grin
