Cropped dungarees for autumn?

I'm eyeing up some cropped denim dungarees in the Fat Face sale, and am trying to decide whether or not they'd be a total waste of money. Does anyone have any cropped dungarees? How are you styling them at the moment / planning to style them for autumn? I have a pair of the Lewes dungarees which I'm getting a lot of wear out of at the moment (breastfeeding and very conscious of a mum tum that is taking a while to shift!)

I am wearing cropped dungarees right now! Mine are tan cord ones from Brixton, and today I'm wearing them with a pale blue and white Breton top from Monki and white Stan Smiths.

Last winter I wore them with fitted crew or polo necks underneath (in black or mustard) and black Stan Smiths or black DM monkey boots. I wore knee-high socks when it was really cold, so they closed up the gap. I get those from M&S school section and have them in charcoal grey, navy, and black - very useful for wearing with cropped trousers in winter!

Ooh great tips, thank you! I think you've convinced me. I don't have any DMs but have been thinking I might invest in some for the winter, so this would be a good excuse Smile it's still quite warm where I am (SW) so I'd hopefully get a few weeks' wear out of them with trainers and a T-shirt anyway

Ps love that you wear M&S school socks under them Grin I hope they're not still as itchy and annoying as I remember them being when I was seven!
