Should I get 'baby bangs'?

Hi there,

I have long hair down to my boob near enough and have always had some sort of fringe. Currently it's a side fringe as the 'on the eyebrow' fringe I had cut 2 months ago has grown out.

My hair is (dyed) red and straight and I do wear glasses.

I've been contemplating 'baby bangs' for a while. Basically above the eyebrow, showing a bit of forehead flesh as I think it looks fun!

However I am 32, not particularly 'edgy' although I do wear doc marten shoes but do not dress in black. Should I bite the bullet? I imagine if I hate it/it makes me look 12 I can always grow it out quickly enough.

What are people's thoughts on this style? Is there an upper age limit to such a fashion?

@givinglessfucksdaily thanks! My mum absolutely hates the colour with a passion but is literally the only person I know who does 😂.

She is very risk adverse though. I would be thrown into the gates of hell if I got a tattoo. Fortunately for her I wouldn't even know what to get so never have!

@NatMoz .. of course you should keep mum sweet or just get something small in a place she'll never know 😉
Let us see whatever you decide to do with your hair and can I introduce Mimi to your fur baby .. she likes to scroll with me on the bed too sometimes

@Plump82 I can imagine it would be, the growth I've experienced in 2 months is insane. I look like cousin IT if I don't put my hair into a side fringe!!!

Fortunately my hairdressers (5 mins walk) does free fringe trims and I wfh.

I think it depends on your hair type and how you style it. It can look funky but can also look a bit village of the damned if you're not careful Grin

Mine does too but i actually prefer the way I cut my fringe as I know how it sits etc.

Fringes are great but eyebrow length is much more flattering for the majority of people. If you went short it would only take a couple of weeks for it to grow. I have to get mine trimmed every other week so it is quite high maintenance.
