Is double denim ok?? Pic included

So I'm 26, recently filed for divorce, recently lost 5 stone. Trying to find myself, my style etc. Is double denim ok?? Is this acceptable??

@Chocolatecoatedkettlebell I ordered some new Adidas trainers this morning, the stripes are different pastel colours, they're lovely. Also ordered a black 'shacket'(??) in case this thread was a huge no and I needed a new jacket haha!

I live the photo with the white/cream t shirt.

The white t.shirt and black jeans look amazing, but I say whatever you feel good in.

You look great @DriftGames. I tend to wear different shades of denim when doing it but I am older and remember wearing DD in my youth.

I am not very keen on the wanting to dress like a teenage boy who hangs over the park with his skateboard!

Make the most of being a lovely young lady by looking like a young lady is seen as being old fashioned which is such a shame.

I have it as some kind of nervous fashion tic. All that awful double denim in the 90s. There was an irish girl band, very jolly but were head to foot in the stuff.

The double denim is fine, but you look so much better in the later ones with black jeans. Those pics show your spirit, you look happy and full of life (and hot). The blue ones are just a bit 'muh', they don't do you justice.

Ok, so, as for the double denim - fine for comfort/errands, but more fitting stuff works better on me? Will definitely shop to that!

Im not very girly, I'm into cars and I compete in motorsport (hence the username), I drink beer and I like football - but I'm trying to shake the 19 year old male look a little!

Maybe you could try some leather/fake leather leggings/trousers? They may go with your look and are nice and fitted to show of your lovely body.
