Size 34 waist fitted school shorts, grey

I know this board has amazing people that can find dresses etc, can anyone help with school shorts?
I need a pair that are dark grey (like children wear in primary) and do not have elasticated waist, I can find plus fit shorts with elasticated waist but the rest of the dimensions are wrong as they are designed for smaller height people.

These look better than the ones I have just ordered (and have actual sizes rather than a size range) but they have an elasticated back, I really want some that are fitted like mens trousers are. But thank you for looking, I've ordered a pair to see if the elastic is less bulky looking than the current pair.

Yes elasticated, the main problem is the elasticated is for bigger stomachs but the length isn't for longer legs.

You'll probably find it easier to get full length trousers and then have them altered to shorts

Hadn't thought of that, beyond my capabilities but will look into a seamstress

Most Prep school shorts are like this and go up to age 13 but big sizing. DS shorts don’t have elastic back and are from marks and spencer and if you look at John Lewis they represent some specific schools snd can go up to young adult sizing.

Thanks, sadly young adult sizing are slightly a lot slimmer. I can get size 15-16 without the elastic but the waist size is around 30, I need 34 minimum

Try searching for Skopes. They do workwear/work uniforms etc. as well as general menswear in various lengths. I’ve just bought my very tall DS some grey school trousers that are workwear. They may have shorts too.

The others are a bit too trendy, more shorts than school shorts but these are exactly what I want. Going to have to suck up the price, just hope they look that good when they arrive, I will report back. Thank you
