I was recently bought some Neals Yard sleep products which I am looking forward to using and wondered what other things could help to make going to bed more enticing than sitting up and, er, drinking wine...

I change sheets every five days or so, and always have fresh pyjamas but the more indulgent aspects the better!

Face mask
Body lotion
Candles or diffuser
Relaxing music or podcast
A good book
My favourite herbal tea or an iced water
My planner to set out my to do lists and schedules for the following days

I agree with the sheets. Blue Lenor. Nothing beats it!
I have some Aesop hand cream which is lavender and geranium. It's not the best handcream I've used by a long shot, but I like a dobble just for the scent.
Similarly, Lancome Hydra Zen night moisturizer. Hand on heart, it's no better than any other night cream but has an amazing scent and wonderful texture.

I only buy both of these when in bundle offers so I don't get used to the smell either.

I always used to buy cheap £5 jammies from Primark etc. Then I got some for £35 from Deb's. Sounds ridiculous but just putting them on made me feel special.

I think I need to up the pyjama game too, some of mine were lovely when I bought them but, er, 9 years on are looking a bit worse for wear!

I always buy white company pj in the sale. It usually cost £45 but they last ages. The beddings still rubbish though.

I do my face at least an hour before bed to let everything absorb.
