Is a red leather jacket a bit naff?

I picked up this Reiss jacket brand-new in a charity shop last week. I liked it when I saw it but now I'm wondering if I look like I'm about to break into Thriller! Has this style had its day?

I would say it’s brown enough to be ‘neutral’ and a clean cut biker like that is a wardrobe staple and a classic that’ll be around for a long time even if it’s not the very peak of fashion.

I had visions of a bright red 80s special but this is actually more of a burgundy/test colour.

Lovely for autumn, I would go for it!

I have an Oasis version of the jacket in a similar colour and wore it so much last Autumn. I like to wear flowery/patterned knee length and midi length dresses so picked out the jacket colour in various dresses I bought.

Not Thriller enough to concern me, but with coloured leather or suede jackets what you need to ask yourself is, “would Theresa May have worn this?”

I like it too! I (pure dumb luck) picked up a secondhand All Saints one in oxblood about this time last year - wore it with everything and plan to do so again this year. Yours looks very similar
