"Lounge suit" dress code - help!

Hello wise S&B people... would be really grateful for some help!

I've got a lunch to go to next week and the dress code is "business attire/lounge suit".

Any ideas for WTH I can wear?! Im 5'5", size 10-12 and I don't know where to start!

I’d go for 2 as the top half is nice. With some dressy earrings if you have then and a smart bag and shoes.

One is a nice dress but a bit plain.

Do your hair and make up and have a great time. Hope the charity makes lots of money !

1 or 2 both look well so whichever you feel more comfortable in.

no. 2 but check how warm it's going to be. It got quite hot here (SE) yesterday. Dresses are cooler.

Thanks all. Shoes are the issues with outfit no.2. Would have to wear trainers and change into black heels when I got there. The trousers are a little snug but I already own outfit 2 and outfit 1 is new (and expensive!) so I'm a bit conflicted still.

I have at least ruled out outfit 3, thank you!

I think Option 2 would be my choice. Very striking.

Option 1 is also very suitable but I think for this occasion would benefit from being brightened up with accessories a little.

Option 2 looks great

It’s the type of thing I would have worn (when I had to dress like a respectable human being) - always had a pair of very soft flatties that would fit into my handbag (and elastic fatty pants)!

Plus I am an absolute slob and would definitely drop something down my front...

In option 2 the trousers dominate the outfit.

I like number 2 the best. I think it’s more interesting and stylish than dress one which is totally fine but a bit unremarkable.
