Hello looking into purchasing a course of Hydrafacials asking if they are worth it?

It depends what you’re after. I get them and I do think my skin looks fresh and healthier afterwards (in comparison to a dermalogica one that is just a bit meh, I’ve also had environ and a super expensive one on London that people used to rail about but the name escapes me).
However I don’t think any facial takes the place of good every day skincare and tretinoin.
I think it’s worth it if you like having a facial - Ie it’s a good one and your skin looks lovely and glowy afterwards and I think it mayyyy slow down the signs of age.. but too soon to tell..

It definitely freshens and brightens the skin, I'd try one session and see if you like the results and the therapist.

It won't perform miracles but it's a pleasant experience.

Thank you. Was wondering if to buy a course of 6 for my birthday but £600

I just need someone to tell me what I need for my skin and what products and regime!

In that case go for a free consultation to an aesthetics place (the sort that does a few different treatments and products) and they’ll be able to talk through what you want. They’ll probably try and push ZO skin which is brilliant but you can take note of it (or buy a starter pack) and then you’ll learn what ingredients and types of product to look out for and be able to build yourself from cheaper. In addition they’ll tell you if you need something different in terms of facial treatment.
It’s not injectables but have a look at the tweakments guide as usually they’ll list people who do it all.

I didn’t think they were worth the money but I’m quite clued up on skincare and am religious about hydration, oily fish, etc.

Hopdathelf · 10/09/2021 12:22

Sorry, that’s not very clear. By that I mean I’m already doing a lot anyway so the difference was marginal.

Thanks everyone - I will look into an aesthetics clinic
