Show me your new key purchases for A/W21!

I'm tempted by some of those large clunky looking boots, they seem to come in white or cream a lot and resemble part of a hazmat suit but i think in my head I'll look like the Instagram influencers I follow not the 5'4 size 16 mum of two that I am!
I definitely want to start being more daring with my fashion choices so im looking for inspiration!

I’ve been doing second hand September so don’t have links!

So far for £40 I’ve got:

A Gant wool blazer
2 x wool jumpers (Boden & Other Stories) in navy and rust
Burgundy leather pencil skirt
Burgundy cord mini skirt

Waiting on a black denim pencil skirt.

Nothing that’s going to set the world on fire but will hopefully keep me ticking over while starting a new job and trying to lose the last of the baby weight!

That's a great haul @MaverickDanger where did you get it from? eBay or charity shops?

I'm sorry I don't have anything to share but I'll be following with interest. I've just stocked up on the absolute basics as I realised I had about three items of clothing that weren't falling apart (I'm not exaggerating)! Like the PP Ive had some absolute second-hand bargains but I'd love to add something a bit special.

From Vinted. I’ve been selling some of DS’ baby clothes and a few other unwanted gifts. Next is to attempt to sell some of my old clothes & see if I can pay for Christmas that way!

I always think September is weird in the shops. People are ready for the autumn clothes but they don’t really seem to bring them in until October! I’m holding off until more autumnal colours are in stores.

I know what I’m getting. A pair of jeans. My last pair wore out just before the summer so I made the best of things with skirts and harem pants I already had so I could save the money until I really needed to spend it. Kind of forgot that meant it was the same time as buying all the school uniform 😆 guess it’s time for a trip round the charity shops. Fingers crossed for something nice in my size.
