Help me find a hair cut and colour before Friday!

I'm getting my hair done, (cut and coloured) on Friday.

The second picture is my current hair and the first picture is what I've asked for. But I'm now having second thoughts. I have naturally very dark brown hair.

I want something that is me, minimal maintenance but also, adult? That sounds strange but I want to be taken seriously as a professional adult woman. I want something mature.

Go natural but with a caramel balayage, keeping the same style? Or go for a dark pixie cut if you don’t mind losing the length?

I love your hair as it is. I have the same cut, only it has grown out and I’m having it redone next week!!! I love it, no maintenance and looks great whether I am walking the dog or having a work meeting.
