Charlotte Tilbury magic eye cream

Has anyone tried it? I'm tempted but it's quite expensive at £42 for small jar. Reviews look good and I'm willing to spend that amount if it really works. I would really appreciate any feedback if you have tried it. Thanks in advance.

I use it and love it. However, I'm not sure what you mean by 'works' as any cream can only do so much. It hydrates and plumps nicely but I've used tretinoin for years which has kept any under eye wrinkles at bay.

What do you need it do to?

I've tried it and it was fine but it is by no means 'magic' so won't get rid of wrinkles or erase skin pigmentation. I found it to be very rich (like the magic cream is) so very hydrating if you have very dry skin it may work well. It gives off a bit of a sheen so does brighten a bit on application but I didn't notice any cumulative improvements over time. I think it's quite similar to the olay ultimate eye cream in terms of the brightening, but that is a lighter cream (and a lot cheaper). For the price I wouldn't personally repurchase it.

Eye cream wise I like First Aid beauty niacinamide eye cream, Ole Henricksen banana bright, or the cerave for just basic hydration.

For anti ageing purposes I'd look for something with retinol, like the ROC retinol correction eye cream.

Thank you for replying, that's really helpful. I guess I just want it to do what it claims it will do! I do put Tretinoin around my lower eye orbital but have dark circles and not very nice textured skin where bags would be (but don't have bags - yet). I'll have a look at suggested options. Thanks again,
