I was considering buying these boots but...

I know these boots won't be to everyone's liking but just under knee length suits me best, and a chunky heel for height and comfort. So I though these fitted the bill as the boot shaft is 37cm in lenghth which is perfect for me because I am short, but I have just checked the circumference of the boots and it's only 31 cm!! Is this even possible??? I don't have particularly big calves, but they measure 38cm at their largest.

Oh wow those are gorgeous, I had an almost identical pair in the late 90s! I think the legs are stretchy, hence the small circumference ..?

Hi Benji, I see that they're stretchy but still. I honestly don't know how they'll fit around my calves. I also worry that the foot will look much too chunky in comparison to the leg? Zalando's delivery and returns service is excellent so I could always try them I guess. I know that Unisa are really comfortable shoes on the whole.

Can you return them if you don’t like them? Only way of knowing for sure is to try them on.

The woman in the picture does have small calves but I think it is worth trying them to see if they work for you

Just measured mine as I have stupidly thin calves and can never find knee length boots that don't flap around like wellies and they are 31cm. I have had a stretchy pair before and they weren't tight on me so I think there is quite a lot of give in them.

I have slim calves so much so that most shops boots are like wellies but my calves are 34cm so I'd say they're unusually slim fitting.

Hmmm, thanks everyone. Not gonna get the. I think even if they stretch around my calves, they'll look weird, like too tight around the leg and then all chunky on the foot.
