What tops to wear with mum jeans?

Just bought some mum jeans, still not sure if I like them so will probably end up in my skinnies, what tops do you wear with mum jeans? All tops seem to be over sized or cropped, I have sweatshirts but need something short sleeved to wear under a jacket/coat. What are you wearing with your jeans?

A tucked in t shirt looks great, whether it's fitted or oversized!

Body suits, fitted crop tops / bralettes look better if you are short waisted. If long waisted then a fitted boxy t-shirt

So far I've worn tight t shirts tucked into mine.

T shirts or vest tops tucked in, anything needs to be tucked I think

Agree with body suits and cropped tops (I'm 35 and size 12 and the cropped tops meet the top of the high waisted jeans so it's not showing much if any skin if that helps)

I also have a few shirts I tie at the waist and look good (I think).

Yes anything tucked in. I’ve even worn a light jumper loosely tucked in to mine.
