Hair help!

I’m mid thirties and am so down about my hair. Despite my age I have lots of grey so I have to colour the roots every 3/4 weeks. I have this done professionally. I have very frizzy, dry, brittle hair…if it’s left to dry naturally it looks like Monica from friends in the humidity scene…so I have no choice but to blow dry and use straightners. But I try and do this no more then 2/3 times a week maximum. The rest of the time I tie it back.
If im invited out my first thought is what will I do with my hair? It looks terrible down, no shape as some of its snapped and damaged. It’s too short. And if I tie it back I just look frumpy and boring.
Can anyone suggest anything I can do to help improve this it’s really starting to knock my confidence. Thank you.

Have you ever tried Olaplex 3 to repair damage?
What products do you use now?

I have hair like yours and very little has made a difference sadly. It literally drives me nuts.
I've tried so many things. A couple of things which have helped are boreigo hair mask, Moroccan oil hair mask and Moroccan oil treatment oil. The help is temporary but means I can sometimes get my hair to sit nice for a day or so.
The hair dresser told me it's largely hereditary but obviously avoiding further damage helps.
A family member who has the exact same hair type has taken to wearing hair pieces as her hair was causing so much stress. They look great but no a route im ready to try yet.

What I will say however is that I've grown out my grey. Am about 1/2 grey, 1/2 old colour. The grey is much better quality than the rest of my hair.
