BoB guidance please

Evening all

Some advice would be fab if possible -desperately needed to measure for some new bras and have seen BoB has good reviews. BoB size came out as 38H.

Ordered a couple of bras and they arrived today. When trying both on, they didn’t fit

• Both far too loose on band even when on tightest setting (I saw on BoB the way to test the band was to complete the ‘band test’ - I did this and could move the band at least 2inches away from my chest)
• cups were not full despite doing the ‘scoop and swoop’. Loose gaps of fabric around top of both cups

So I have seen this means I need to go down a band size but what about the cup size? It’s so confusing 🤦🏼‍♀️

Anyone?

A H cup on a 36 band will be smaller than a H cup on a 38 band. I'd try a 36H, do the band test again, and if that's OK do the swoop and scoop and look at the cups. Then you can go up or down a cup size on the fat size band if needed.

@Flumpydumps I'd save yourself the hassle and try and find somewhere who can measure you. Due to Covid though, you may need to travel.

BoB was waaaaaay out all the times I tried it.

Your BoB starter size is just that - a starter. You'll still need to try bras on and check the fit as every manufacturer and every style are slightly different.
I've just spotted my autocorrect fail in my previous post - 'fat band' - I obviously meant 'right band'.
I ordered a pile of bras from Next in lots of different sizes, and tried on at home. Then returned the ones that weren't right.
