Flared jeans

Just shelled out big time for a fab pair of denim flares, but what to do re length: too long as is with my high boots, way too long with everyday boots. Have good alterations service - but which length to go for ….anyone?

Don’t take too much off the length. Obv. you need to be able to walk without tripping up and you don’t want them soaking up wet pavements, but the longer the more leg lengthening and hence flattering, IMO.
