Back to the office!

I started a new job during COVID and am determined to stop looking like a scruff bag when we all go back to the office next week.

I’m 40, size 14/16 and a bit podgy (mid section is a disaster, arms and legs not too bad) and favour simple dresses for smarter wear. Don’t like anything too tight or form fitting as so unforgiving on my middle. Trousers are generally not good although would wear these if I could find a flattering / comfortable cut combined with a longer top.

The bit I’m mainly stuck on is dress down, which apparently we are wearing 1st day back, does anyone have any brilliant suggestions I could adopt? Could include dresses, definitely not skirts!

If you lovely ladies can suggest some good stuff I will even brush my hair!

Not on a very tight budget but I’d like to get a few things so the cheaper end of the range generally preferable

Grin I think there are a lot of us in the same boat!

I’m happy enough with my boring but smart dresses it’s the dress down that’s got me stumped. I used to wear leggings and long tops at my old job but I was a notorious scruff bag there and I’m trying to mend my ways
