Are these nice or have I lost the plot?

Thinking of autumn every day trainers. White seems too summery, my New Balance navy have been well worn but I fancy a change.
I'm middle aged and a very conservative dresser.

I like them! Go for it! 😁

Tulipomania · 31/08/2021 19:24

Mistake.

I bought some 'jazzy' trainers and hated them quite quickly, ended ups selling them on eBay for a lot less than I paid ...

MrsFin · 31/08/2021 19:25

They are awful! Sorry Blush

WhoppingBigBackside · 31/08/2021 19:27

A No from me.

Meredusoleil · 31/08/2021 19:27

Not my cup of tea.

theemmadilemma · 31/08/2021 19:27

They're the kind of thing I'd buy thinking they'd look great only to feel a twat in them and them remain unworn.

GreenLeafs · 31/08/2021 19:27

Lost the plot Smile.

Fubitch · 31/08/2021 19:28

Bon Marche version of Air Max.

Redhotchilis · 31/08/2021 19:28

I wouldn't wear them at all, sorry

Tulipomania · 31/08/2021 19:29

I have always regretted buying trendy trainers.

I got some glittery Converse once in a moment of madness.

Much better to stick with classics.

Elouera · 31/08/2021 19:29

I don't like anything with a faux animal print, s I dislike that pattern on them.

RJnomore1 · 31/08/2021 19:29

Minging. Sorry.

twoshots · 31/08/2021 19:29

Thank you for the brutal honesty, young adult DD agrees!

NFMT
Not for me thanks!

Hoppinggreen · 31/08/2021 19:35

I probably would buy them myself but I don’t hate them

Pigtailsandall · 31/08/2021 19:36

If you want to venture out of your comfort zones a bit, how about a bright but solid-coloured trainer? Like a burgundy, green etc? I recently got some yellow converse to spice up my black jeans and white t-shirt look, and they've been different enough to make me feel like I'm mixing things up a bit

orangeloo · 31/08/2021 19:39

I like them and I'm pretty trendy if I do say so myself 😂. if you like them & have stuff to go with them and think you will definitely wear them. Get them.

Ninkanink · 31/08/2021 19:39

They’re not great...

PineapplePanda · 31/08/2021 19:54

I should add that I'm a young adult, not sure of the age of other posters here. But when I see an older woman experimenting with fashion accessories like these I find it really refreshing and most of the time they can pull it off too! My siblings and I often give our mother fashion advice when she's not feeling brave and she always pulls the look off! Trust your DD!

AlrightThereSkippy · 31/08/2021 19:56

I also think those are horrible, sorry. I do quite like more colourful trainers, but I don't like the leopard print with it.

gunnersgold · 31/08/2021 20:18

I like them and i bet they are comfy!

workshy44 · 31/08/2021 20:19

Horrendous

SquirrelFan · 31/08/2021 20:34

Sorry, OP, but in the nicest possible way, they're Old Lady On A Cruise Shoes.

goose1964 · 31/08/2021 23:03

I'm nearly 60 and would wear them. I don't care what other people think.

ElizabethTudor · 31/08/2021 23:09

I like them! 🐆👍🏻
